Important Notes All dogs brought in to our kennels must be current on the following immunizations: Parvo, Distemper, Rabies, Para Influenza, Leptospirosis, Bordatella (kennel cough). They must also be free from internal and external parasites. We require proof from your veterinarian that your dog(s) are current with their vaccinations.
Any dog being treated with antibiotics must finish their medication prior to arrival at the kennels. We will be glad to give your dog any veterinarian prescribed medication for health maintenance reasons as needed and recommended.
All dogs must also be on a monthly heartworm preventative. Dogs will continue to receive monthly heartworm medication while at our kennel, so please bring enough for the duration of their stay. It is also beneficial for your dogs to be on a monthly flea and tick preventative while at our kennels, such as Frontline, so please plan accordingly.
Fees: $15.00 per day – Pick up by noon. If you pick up after 12:00 it counts as an additional day. No pick ups are allowed after 6PM unless special arrangements are made. Please be on time to pick up your dog. We expect payment at the time of drop off. If there are additional days added you can pay for these at pick-up. Its very important that you make an appointment for drop off and pick up on time. We are many times training, walking or feeding. Thank you in advance. Multiple dogs: Generally, I discount additional dogs by $10.00 for a boarding stay of at least one week in duration. So, two dogs for one week would be $30.00 a day. We don’t charge according to size because all dogs get the same attention. If you have a lot of dogs and need an affordable solution, please just email or call & we’ll see what we can work out for you. Long Term Boarding: We offer discounts on long term boarding and an additional discount for military personnel. Please email us the details and we’ll figure out a monthly price for you. IMPORTANT NOTE: Long term boarding is considered to be 3 weeks or more. We will always work with you on pricing. Over the past 6 months there has been an increasing number of boarding facilities that have taken in dogs that were never picked up. Rather than take them to a shelter people think its easier to leave them at a boarding facility. This isn’t true. We are unable to keep dogs and all no kill shelters are full. If you are currently in a bad situation and are unable to care for your dog please contact the breeder you purchased your dog from or search the internet for local rescues. Due to this increasing problem we are now requiring all long term boarding fees paid up front and along with your boarding contract you must supply a copy of your driver’s license. We hate doing this but please understand that people must take responsibility for their pets. We are happy to love and care for them long term and treat them as our own, however we are unable to keep them. Thank you for understanding. Your dog will be safe and happy. We are happy to show you our facilities with an appointment or provide you with referrals. < |
